1. Display

Q1.1 Why it keeps showing 0.0? no changing?

To avoid the shipping to crash the pressure sensor, we pack Skale with a protector. Please remove the protector under the platform before using.

Q1.2 Why Skale display unit is OZ not Gram?

(Part of the model) Touch and hold and button to power on and to switch measurement units between gram and oz. To switch to oz, Skale shows '02' and to gram, Skale shows '9'。

Q1.3 Can Skale display Weight and Timer at the same time?

Skale shows weighting only now. We plan to modify the FW in the future, before that, you can develop APPs by yourself.

Q1.4 What is the meaning as showing LO (BA)？

The battery level is low. The measurement result is effected by low battery, please change the batteries as soon as possible. Or remove the batteries and use Micro-USB.

Q1.5 Why Skale shows 'SLEEP' after power on?

In low battery level, it will effect the detection results for touch keys. Please replace the batteries or use Micro-USB

Q1.6 The weighting values is unstable?

Skale has higher accuracy. Please Use it on a flat and stable surface with no wind and avoid shaking. Besides, in low battery, Skale get the unstable weighting, too. Please replace the batteries or use Micro-USB to power on Skale.

2. Connection

Q2.1 Can't connecting to the APPs?

After you power on, the scale will announce itself for pairing. You will see a red LED on the right side blink. This LED will turn off when pairing succeeds or after one minute, when the scale gives up trying to pair. If you have not paired, but would like to try again, you can hold down the button for 2 seconds to reactivate the pairing attempt.

Q2.2 Why red LED is blinking?

A red LED on the right side blink to indicate Skale announces itself for pairing.

3. Others

Q3.1 Why I don't have a USB cable?

In order to reduce the battery replacement and long-term use, Skale provides a 5V Micro-USB power connector. Skale II does not provide wire on the package for eco friendly. Please use the general Micro-USB cable instead.

Q3.2 Can USB charge the batteries?

Only for power supply, it can't charge the batteries.

Q3.3 Is Skale WaterProof?

Although Skale itself has not been waterproof test, but PCB is sprayed lead to lead-free, environmentally friendly waterproof insulation layer. The water splash will not cause damage, please feel free to use.

Q3.4 What is the meaning of Green Light?

Green light is the touch key indication. The touch key detects the electric field nearby. Any change could effect the electric field, like water, powder on it, or close to spoons, cups.
